Job Description

Job Title: Electronic Device Repair Technician

Position Status: Full-Time Employee

Summary iResQ is a family-owned and operated local business who is seeking to increase our Tablet / Laptop Repair Technician Team. We are looking for a person that is a problem solver, has a steady hand and can conduct detailed, precision work on Apple and Microsoft devices. Responsibilities and Duties

  • The primary responsibility of the Device Repair Technician is to provide support to the General Manager and company CEO in performing necessary repairs on incoming devices.
  • Duties will include:
  • Receiving daily incoming repairs and appropriately annotating in company software.
  • Performing diagnosis on incoming repairs and providing notes in tracking software.
  • Keeping customers informed by explaining repairs telephonically or through email.
  • Keeping customers informed of repair charges telephonically or through email.
  • Performing repairs and/or upgrades per customer request or requirement.
  • Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as circumstances warrant.

C. Employee will work a 40-hour work week Monday – Friday. Overtime may be authorized/required during specific periods as workload dictates.

Accountability The Technician will report directly to the a Team Lead and/or General Manager. Periodic performance reviews will be conducted in accordance with company policy. Employees must excel at maintaining focus on tasks at hand and being self-directed.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency with basic computer programs including word processing, spreadsheet (data entry) and database systems.
  • Working knowledge of email systems, computer hardware and peripherals.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and professionally through written and verbal mediums.
  • A high level of adaptability and ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility in assigned duties and work hours.

Pay Schedule The Technician will be paid bi-weekly as per the payroll 26 pay-period annual schedule. Applicable Federal, State and Social Security taxes will be withheld based on submission of the employee’s W-4.

Salary: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
