Apple goes global

How-to Repairs

There is a lot of news circling Apple becoming increasingly global. According to 9to5Mac, Apple has made a series of announcements this week regarding its devices around the world.

One such announcement detailed Apple's iPhone 5 release in December to South Korea along with 50 additional countries. The source indicated that the iPhone 5 is currently available in 47 countries, and with the plans to expand to 50 more, Apple moves closer to reaching its goal of making the device available in more than 100 countries by the end of the year. South Korea is scheduled to get access to the iPhone on December 7, with additional countries getting access on December 14 and December 21.

According to 9to5Mac, Apple also announced that iTunes Music will be going live in 56 countries, including Turkey, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Israel and Russia. This is scheduled to occur prior to Apple's iTunes event taking place December 5. Apple's iTunes event is meant to precede Russia's December 14 launch of the iPhone 5.
