It's become trendy to discuss food and restaurant reviews on iPad apps among friends, so Apple is making Yelp's check-in and review feature a fixture on the next platform update, according to Bloomberg. Those who love using Yelp but don't have a working Apple device should look to iPad repair to get their device up and running again so they can start telling people about their favorite local businesses.
“Apple is important for Yelp,” said Aaron Kessler, an analyst at Raymond James & Associates in San Francisco, according to the news source. “About 40 percent of traffic to Yelp is from their mobile app. That number may be higher if you include browser- based mobile.”
Mobile check in will also be notable in concert with the new GPS capability the device will get. Bloomberg said the new feature will show users how many people have checked in at a certain location, whether any are friends and can publish where people are and where they have been through other social media websites.
Ars Technica said this plays into Apple bringing in new maps to replace the old Google system. Those who would like to check out all these new features should look into iPad repair for their device.
