New iPhone, iPad Mini could be on the way

September could be a great month for Apple fans, as an analyst said there could be a new iPhone and an iPad Mini coming to the market in the same month. Apple Insider reports that Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White said these devices will be coming this year during a visit to Taipei this week with local suppliers.

“People in the Taiwanese supply chain also discussed with White the belief that the next iPhone will feature a unibody aluminum casing manufactured by Foxconn,” Apple Insider reports. “However, White also said his industry contact was 'skeptical' about the prospect of Apple using material from Liquidmetal Technologies, an amorphous metal that Apple has exclusive rights to in consumer electronic products.”

Many speculated the new devices would come out in October as the new iPhone did last year, but Apple fans may be in for an early surprise.

PC Magazine said there has been speculation that the new iPhone will be shown off as early as next week at the Worldwide Developers Conference.

For those who are happy with their current devices but have noticed that they've been acting strangely recently, purchasing a brand new phone or tablet may not be the most economically prudent choice. Instead, research iPad and iPhone repair services and see whether the device can be serviced at a more affordable cost.
