Just over a quarter of future tablet buyers want the iPad

After surveying 3,124 people across the planet, IDG Connect found that 27 percent of people across the world want to buy an Apple iPad. For those who already have one – albeit a broken one – buying a new iPad isn't necessarily the answer. There's iPad repair readily available for people to get their prized tablet back as soon as possible.

The survey said 64 percent of iPad owners use their tablet for daily work, which means they have found the mobile devices can help them go through their day more efficiently. Because these individuals will likely grow more dependent on their iPads over time, it's important they keep it in full-working order.

"The rise in tablet usage and increasing prevalence of BYOD is set to have a fundamental impact on IT and business over the next few years," said Kathryn Cave, editor at IDG Connect. "These findings signify changes in work mobile consumption and market leadership in the tablet arena. They also have implications for business in emerging regions, IT security and marketers worldwide."

A recent Gartner report shows that there will be 665 million tablet users by 2016, and 45 percent of are expected to be iPad users. These users should always remember that if their device breaks, iPad repair is readily available and great to use.
