IPad could soon be used as TV remote

Technology is becoming more intertwined than ever, so it's no surprise that Apple may plan to have the iPad function as a remote interface for the widely expected release of the Cupertino, California-based company's first HDTV, according to Apple Insider.

“The source claims that the iPad will be running special apps that will allow users to scan media content through a GUI akin to that seen on the existing TiVo app and its set-box counterpart,” according to the news source. “The system is 'early stage' and could be merely a working model for Apple engineers.”

Channels are said to have their own displays that could show extra information on the iPad, making watching television a more interactive experience than ever.

With iPads becoming more a part of everyday activities at home, including communication and watching TV, it's important for families to know that if their device were to break, there are affordable iPad repair solutions available. Some service companies will even offer owners of damaged iPads a free diagnosis and quote to ensure they have all the information they need before deciding whether to go through with the repair.
