How to take care of your iPad
The iPad is being used around the globe across a wide selection of industries, and the device serves as a favorite companion for many consumers. As your iPad becomes more central to all kinds of tasks, there are a few things to keep in mind when looking to extend the life of your device.
Many consumers don’t know how important it is to keep their iPad between 32 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. This means it would be unwise to leave your device in your car during the cold winter seasons or during a heat wave.
Those who are not particularly interested in getting the flu this season should take extra precautions to keep the iPad touch screen clean. In a guest blog post, Mimes In Motion contributor Neltje Maynez explained that giving your iPad a regular cleaning can also help minimize damage and prevent device overheating.
“Before cleaning, turn the iPad off, unplug any peripherals and remove the protective case,” Maynez wrote. “Use a soft, microfiber cloth and specialty screen cleaner to clean the screen. Avoid using any solvent products, any regular household cleaners or water on your iPad. When spraying cleaner, spray it on the cloth instead of the device to prevent moisture from getting inside your iPad.”
Educating yourself about proper iPad care is an important step in extending the life of your device. However, iResQ’s iPad screen repair services can get your device back in working order should an accident occur.
