Comics come to the iPad

iPad /

If you have a hard time navigating your stack of comics, have no fear because they are finally coming to your Apple device.

A post on the DC Comic website explained that its entire lineup would now be available on e-Bookstores. This means that you can finally read Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman comics on your iPad through the iBookstore app. The co-publisher of DC Comics Jim Lee was quoted on the blog as saying:

“As e-readers and tablets continue to explode in popularity it’s important for us to offer consumers convenience and choice on how they download digital comics and graphic novels and these new distribution deals with the top three e-bookstores do just that.”

An October PadGadget post provided a list of apps that could be used to create your own comics on your iPad for those unsatisfied by just reading comics. With apps like ArtStudio, Strip Designer and Book Creator, you can draw, design and organize your comics and then view them on the same app that you would read your DC Comics.
