Chalkboards have become a relic of another time, as today's classrooms are outfitted with whiteboards, computers and other advanced learning tools. Now you can add mobile devices to the mix. Students in schools across the country are using iPads and iPods to help enhance their learning, making iPod and iPad repair options imperative for the schools, as we all know how careful kids are with technology. According to Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, students in one distract saw a 20 percent jump in math scores thanks to use of an iPad app.

“By engineering a comprehensive platform that combines the best learning material with technology that embraces students' strengths and addresses their weaknesses, we've gone far beyond the capabilities of an e-book to turn a one-way math lesson into an engaging, interactive, supportive learning experience.”

A number of application developers have focused on creating education-based programs, because such a high value has been placed on interactive learning tools that keep children stimulated and interested. Many of these apps have been crafted specifically for Apple's operating system, making the iPad and iPods more appealing to educators and students alike.
GigaOm said things like a better battery life, useful tools for the classroom and the ability to focus on one task at a time are why the iPad and iPod can be great for students. Schools need to have iPad repair options ready to go just in case one happens to break down.
