It's been five years since the iPhone was born into this world, and the device has been a huge moneymaker for Apple. Launched in summer of 2007, the phone has sold 250 million phones across the world and generated $150 billion. Those who have an old device lying around can still get value out of it and can look to iPhone repair from iResQ if they want to keep their older device around a bit longer.

“The iPhone portfolio has become a huge generator of cash and profit for Apple,” said Neil Mawston, executive director at Strategy Analytics, according to AppleInsider. “A quarter of a billion iPhones have been shipped cumulatively worldwide in the first five years since launch and Apple reaches its fifth birthday at the top of its game.”

A VoucherCodes infographic said the iPhone has been key in propelling Apple into world domination and has set the standard for the smartphone of today. Since it was launched, there have been five different versions of the device, all of which have been very successful.

Those who have one of these older devices but feel it may need some repair can look to iResQ for iPhone screen repair and other diagnostics to get their smartphone working as good as it was when it was first purchased.
